The Journey.

How did I get here?

The National Outdoor Expo
This is my latest step. To bring these wild places to your front door.

Adventure TV Safety
This was completely out of my comfort zone. The difference between teaching survival and TV safety on a survival show is night and day. A great chance to test my skills I've been developing for my whole career and be a part of something truly unique.
Bear Grylls Wild Reckoning.

Taking people to new heights
Leading multiple treks to places like Kilimanjaro and Everest Basecamp has solidified my love for taking kids and adults alike to wild places. The bonds they make last forever and being able to help them achieve their goals is always a honour.
Mount Kilimanjaro - The Bucket List Company

Africa
Looking after 32 kids from 14-18 years old for a month in Africa helped me see how these wild places impact you first hand. After a month of building houses, restoring schools and helping farmers these kids really did have stories to last a lifetime.
Kenya - Camps International

The First Expedition
My first taste of something out my comfort zone. 6000m on the side of Volcanos in South America really showed me how much taking people to wild places can change their lives.
Chimborazo - True Summit Adventures

Bear Grylls Survival Academy
Continuing my love for the Bear brand. After passing my instructor assessment I've specialised in delivering the side of the brand for children, leading and designing curriculums and activities hat builds survival skills into kids everyday lives. And a chance to work with Bear himself on multiple occasions.
Switzerland - Bear Grylls Survival Academy

Duke of Edinburgh
After doing my gold DofE in college I wanted to it my own spin, would I have wanted me as an Instructor? Going self employed meant I could pass on some of my knowledge and attitude towards the outdoors to young people experiencing it for the first time.
Wales - BXM Expeditions

Bear Grylls Adventure
A chance opportunity to move home and work as a team leader for a new project built around my childhood hero. A indoor adventure park that grew my skillset it so many ways and solidified my love for the brand and what adventure can give people.
Birmingham - Merlin Entertainments

Apprenticeship
Where my love for the outdoors as my career really started. After changing my mind about University I decided to do a year long apprenticeship in outdoor education, I then went into guest services managing the logistics of all these schools coming to experience what we had to offer.
